The Diamond Jim is also available with the cutout insert diamonds
glued back in to give the effect as shown below.  We basically
use the same cutout, stain it a different color or as in the case
of the black lacquers the same cutout , then glue it
right back in the spot it was cut out.  The diamond jim with
the full cutouts is $ 395.00.  ( believe me, it takes a lot of time to do this...)
Please realize that the diamonds will not be flush with the rest of the board.
In other words you will be able to run your hand over the board and feel the
diamonds sticking out a bit.  Its really not as bad as it sounds.  Basically
I can't sand the diamonds flush after I glue them in because it will sand off all
the stain on the diamonds.....

this one was 2 toned - some of the diamonds were brown walnut stain,
some were red mahogany stained and some left natural
you can choose how you want it  ...

The cutouts from the frame here are left the natural
walnut color while the frame was stained dark walnut.
After the frame and the cutouts have several coats of clear
finish, the pieces are then glued right back in the spots
that they were cut out from.  The finished product
is the picture above.......
